New Zealand: e-cigarette regulation, May 2022

All nicotine and non-nicotine vape products, including devices, were regulated in New Zealand for the first time by the 2020 Smoke-Free Act. The country’s regulatory framework for vapour products is in its final stage of implementation. Most of the laws have already come into force, apart from point-of-sale requirements for distributors which will apply from June 2022 and for sellers from August 2022.
