NGOs could win case against Malaysian health ministry after nicotine delisting

Three non-governmental organisations (NGOs) filing a lawsuit against the Malaysian health ministry on the delisting of nicotine could win their case, local observers believe, and will have several alternatives to consider if their action fails.

The case was brought after the removal of nicotine from the official poisons list resulted in nicotine-containing e-cigarettes being left unregulated in the country.
