North Carolina launches a lawsuit against the founders of Juul Labs

Less than six months after striking a $40m settlement with Juul Labs, the state of North Carolina is suing its founders amid ongoing concerns on “kid-friendly flavors, youth marketing, and poor age verification”.

Attorney general Josh Stein is starting a lawsuit against the founders of the vaping manufacturer, including James Monsees and Adam Bowen, because it considers they personally participated in Juul’s “marketing strategy of attracting young users to their product”.
