There is currently no product-specific regulation for e-cigs in Vietnam, and legal classification for these products is also unclear. However, the country’s Ministry of Health is working on a proposal that would see a total ban on e-cigarettes in the country, although this is currently in the very early stages. This report offers an overview of how these products are currently regulated and what laws are involved, as well as how this new proposal could change the regulatory framework and potentially ban them altogether.
