Finance minister removes e-cig tax increase from budget plan…

Israel: Finance minister Belazel Smotrich has amended the 2024 budget plan and removed the section concerning a tax increase for e-cigarettes, press reports. The duty, which is currently 145% of the wholesale price plus ILS4.64 ($1.22) per ml, up to a total limit of ILS8.90 ($2.35) per ml, will remain unchanged.
