E-cigarette products are regulated in Cyprus by the Health Protection (Smoking Control) Law of 2017, and advertising regulation is more restrictive than the minimum requirements of the EU Tobacco Products Directive (TPD). They are defined as any product that can be used for the consumption of nicotine-containing vapour through a mouthpiece, or any of its components, including cartridges, tanks and the hardware without cartridge or tank. This report provides a comprehensive overview of the current regime that regulates e-cigs in Cyprus, covering all aspects of the law and including relevant laws and bodies.
