E-cigarettes are not regulated in Switzerland by any federal law and so currently fall under the food and product safety laws. That said, in September 2019, a draft of the proposed Tobacco Act was put forward, which although is unlikely to come into force before 2022, would regulate e-cigs and their related products in their own product category. This report not only provides a comprehensive overview of the current regulatory regime in place in Switzerland, but also provides detail of all possible future restrictions.
