Slovenia: e-cigarette regulation, June 2023

Slovenian laws on e-cigarettes are more restrictive than the EU TPD. With the adoption of the “Strategy for reducing the consequences of tobacco use – for Slovenia without tobacco 2022-2030” in May 2022 calling for stricter measures for e-cigarettes, we expect to see the regulatory burden increased in the coming years. Nicotine-free e-liquids are set to be regulated as nicotine ones if the government proposal is adopted.

This report provides a detailed analysis of the current regulatory framework in place in Slovenia for vaping products, covering all policy areas.
