Switzerland: e-cigarette regulation, July 2023

E-cigarettes are currently not regulated in Switzerland by any federal law and temporarily fall within the scope of the food and product safety laws.

The Federal Tobacco Products Act is expected to come into force by mid-2024 and regulate both nicotine-free and nicotine-containing e-cigarettes.
