UK ASA and Elf Bar clash again, this time over accusations of greenwashing in ads

A lack of information on how to recycle vaping products has led to a marketing campaign by Elf Bar running afoul of the UK’s Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) following accusations of greenwashing.

The global owner of the Elf Bar brand, Imiracle, placed a series of advertisements on posters and digital billboards in the UK advertising two vaping products, including the new Elf Bar 600V2, along with the recycling symbol and the statement “Recycling for a Greener Future GreenAwareness”.
