UK Tory funding promise to fight illegal and under-age vape sales goes unfulfilled

The UK Conservative government never gave a promised £30m in extra funding to combat illicit and under-age e-cigarette sales, the UK Vaping Industry Association (UKVIA) alleges.

The UKVIA said it received confirmation from 17 major city or borough councils, in the form of responses to freedom of information (FOI) requests, that they never received any of the promised £30m boost.
