In part of what appears to be a concerted bid to increase political pressure on the USÂ Food and Drug Administration (FDA), a Democrat representative has put forward a bill to force the agency to ramp up enforcement against disposable e-cigarettes.
Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick of Florida introduced the bill just two days after tobacco giant RJ Reynolds petitioned the FDAÂ to adopt more stringent efforts against disposables, using some of the same language.
