Health charity urges Scotland to consider an Australian-style prescription regime

Fear of the effects of an increase in youth vaping has led a UK anti-smoking charity to call for e-cigarettes to be made available on prescription only.

Ash Scotland has urged the Scottish government to consider mirroring the policy in Australia, where vaping products are available on prescription only for those looking to switch from smoking, after they have spoken with qualified health professionals.
