Although not yet an EU member, Albania – to an extent – replicated the EU Tobacco Products Directive (TPD) into domestic law in 2019 through the amendment to the Law on the Protection of Health from Tobacco Products. Albanian legislation regulates only nicotine-containing e-liquids. This report offers a detailed overview of the current regime for e-cigarettes and related products in Albania, taking into account all aspects of law from age and product restrictions to labelling and packaging, advertising and taxation.
