Consumer survey report: changes in vape consumer preferences in the US

ECigIntelligence carries out an annual vape consumer survey in the US – and has been doing so since 2016 – using similar question sets to allow longitudinal comparisons to be made. The 2019 survey data was collected in November and December 2019 with over 8,000 responses from US vapers across the country.

The data is used to validate the assumptions which go into ECigIntelligence’s market size modelling and to clarify consumption patterns in a segment which is traditionally difficult to track.

This report focuses on the consumer journey in the vape category, in particular looking at multi-device usage, and nicotine and flavour behaviour. These changing patterns can be interpreted to give insight into the market and consumption patterns in the US for 2020 and beyond.
