Regulatory report: Indonesia

The Indonesian government says it is working on a national standard for e-cigarettes which may be put forward in 2021.

Currently there is no specific regulation restricting the sale, manufacture, supply, use, display and advertising of e-cigarette products in Indonesia. However, a number of other laws and regulations do apply. This report outlines the current rules that apply to vapour products in Indonesia, and considers how they may change, including regional or local laws.
