The Italian vaping industry is ready to shake off the shackles of past regulation and taxation, according to the coordinator of a major private study.
A new report by Eurispes, the Italian Institute for Political, Economic and Social Studies, reveals that 10,000 people are working in the vaping sector in the country. This number includes sales positions as well as people working in e-liquid production and distribution companies.
The report, “Towards harm reduction; the world of vaping in the light of the new fiscal regulation” (Verso la riduzione del danno; il mondo del vaping alla luce della nuova regolamentazione fiscale), says four out of ten Italian vapers have given up smoking thanks to e-cigarettes.
