US FDA warns three distributors selling unauthorised youth-appealing e-cigs

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued warning letters to three distributors for selling unauthorised vaping products across the US that appeal to under-age consumers.

The FDA said the three distributors sell and distribute e-cigarettes across the country but do not have the required marketing authorisation to do so. As a result, according to the federal agency, these products are “adulterated” and “misbranded” under the Federal Food, Drug and Cosmetic (FD&C) Act.
