Alaska will face an additional excise tax on vaping products – not including those containing cannabis or hemp – but will not face a flavour ban after the state’s legislature finalised the passage of Senate Bill 45 (SB45) and transmitted it to the governor’s office on 24th August for his signature.
Though governor Dunleavy (R) made a campaign promise to avoid any new taxes above 25%, it seems as though this bill will become law.
