ECigIntelligence’s managing director Tim Phillips addressed the UK Vaping Industry Association (UKVIA) Forum in London on Monday 23rd April, when he chaired a morning session on vaping in the grocery sector.
The one-day business-to-business conference was one of three vaping industry events this week in which ECigIntelligence was taking part. The others were to be held in the US and in Belgium.
Monday’s forum covered the latest developments in the vaping industry, including advertising, regulatory landscape, innovation and public health, among other topics.
ECigIntelligence will also be at the Next Generation Nicotine Delivery 2018 USA event in Atlanta, Georgia on Tuesday and Wednesday (24th and 25th April). The event will bring together strategic leaders from across the new nicotine products category, including e-cigarettes and e-liquids.
Tim Phillips will speak in the 9.15am session on Tuesday about retail channel opportunities in the vaping industry. He will also map out the domestic US market for nicotine-containing devices and analyse the impact of Philip Morris International (PMI)’s heated tobacco device IQOS.
On the same day, ECigIntelligence’s director of regulatory analysis Pablo Cano will be speaking in Brussels at Clearing the clouds: reduced-risk and vaping regulation, a conference organised by the leading EU policy network Euractiv. The event will discuss the future of reduced-risk and vaping regulation, product safety, non-compliant products and the difference between e-cigarettes and heat-not-burn devices.
