Environmental management round-up: new approaches across the globe

Regulators continue to increase restrictions in an attempt to minimise the environmental impact of vaping.

In particular, this has been taking the form of bans on disposables – as in the UK where prime minister Rishi Sunak has recently announced plans to ban the sale of disposable vape products in a move the government says will tackle the rise in youth vaping.

In Europe, several member states are starting to implement regulations to increase restrictions beyond those brought in by the EU last year – in particular, the full adoption of a new battery regulation.
